How to Get An Internationally Accepted VISA Prepaid Debit Card In Nigeria

A lot of Nigerians are faced with the problem of paying for goods and services online. As most people now prefer to buy from online stores. Do not disturb yourself applying for Payoneer MasterCard, as what you are looking for in Sokoto is now in your ‘Sokoto’. Nigerian Banks are now waking up to the call of providing their customers with credible and universally accepted credit/debit cards be it VISA or MasterCard.
We shall be talking about a few of these cards (VISA Cards to be specific) and banks where they are obtainable.  Do not pay anyone for card processing or application when you could get credible and reliable cards here in Nigeria at pocket friendly prices.
It is advisable to visit a branch of any these banks you think their service best suite you to get all the details you need about any of these cards before you apply.
DIAMOND ‘park ‘n’ shop’ VISA CREDIT CARD: This card was introduced few weeks ago: a
collaboration between Diamond Bank and ‘park n shop’. To apply for this card, you need to present your bank transaction record of about 6 months or so to be eligible other requirements includes an acceptable form of identification (National I.D Card, Voters Card or Drivers License), P.H.C.N Bill and passport photographs are also needed. The transaction record is needed in order to check if you are indeed capable of running a credit card (financially I think).
GTB VISA DOLLAR CARD: This card is issued by Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB), as the name implies, it is denominated in US Dollars ($). To apply for this card, walk into any branch of GTB Nationwide with $150, an accepted form of identification (National I.D Card, Voters Card or Drivers License) and your PHCN Bill and any other thing the bank might require to issue the card to you.
NOTE: A percentage of the $150 goes to the bank for the maintenance of the card, so you can use the balance to shop.
UBA PREPAID VISA AFRICARD: This prepaid card is denominated in Naira (N), it is very cheap but reliable. You don’t need to be a UBA customer to apply for this card, walk into any UBA Branch Nationwide with N500 to get it instantly, an acceptable form of identification, PHCN Bill and passport photographs. I have been using this card for my online transactions since I got it 2 weeks ago:  N750 if you want it customized with your name on the card.
ZENITH VISA DOLLAR CARD: This card also runs in dollars, its application is not much different from that of GTB. $20 belongs to the bank. You’ve got the remaining $130. My very good friend Jide Ogunshina used this card to run Facebook ads and paid Aweber International with this card that goes a long way to tell you that the card is reliable.
Watch out for my post on how I actually got myself the UBA VISA AFRICARD. In order not to miss this post, SUBSCRIBE to this blog now or enter your email address above to receive new post directly.
